The Tempo5 Focus Group

Background: For those not aware, the San Diego County Regional Multiple Listing Service (aka Sandicor MLS) compiles all information on properties listed and sold by subscribers on a giant SQL database. To access this database, Sandicor has purchased a product from Marketlinx Software called Tempo. Recently, the Tempo 3 product reached its end of life cycle. The replacement product (Tempo 5) is less user friendly, more complex, and more buggy.

There are 3 groups of attendees.

There are the reps from marketlinx. They really seem to be focusing on how much they have accomplished and how hard they have worked.

There are the agents. Some just want to rant abou the lousy product and others are more focused on addressing issues and improving the experience. I don't blame them. You should not need to take a class to operate a website.

Finally there are the reps from Sandicor. We are having a separate meeting after the main meeting. I suspect we will be discussing the cancelling of the contract with Marketlinx.
